A Tray defined by the composition of two geometric elements, simple in form and complementary in function. A plate of U-folded
stainless steel forms the body of the Tray and a pair of wide handles (identical on all sizes, made of black PMMA) enclose the
two ends of the plate, so completing the Tray’s containment space. The constant profile of the steel plate, which varies in length,
determines different Tray dimensions, while the handles are always the same. The wide, sloped handles confer a solidity on the
tray that is not just visual and they are reminiscent of the traditional truncated pyramid shape of wooden trays. The dimensions
of the Trays offered were arrived at by defining their capacities in terms of cups and accessories. Hence, the 45 x 30 Tray can
carry 6 cups plus sugar bowl
